Kallah Classes

My approach to kallah classes is practical, and my focus is on the halacha. I seek to make every woman feel knowledgeable and empowered in her observance. I teach multiple opinions when relevant and allow you to decide what practice is right for you. I am always available to answer questions before and after the wedding.

 

I learned hilchot niddah at Yeshivat Maharat, and I am a certified kallah teacher through the Eden Center and Israeli Chief Rabbinate. I teach brides and couples in person in the Boston area or on Zoom. My husband, Rabbi Evan Crane, is a chatan teacher who is also certified through the Eden Center and Israeli Chief Rabbinate, and he is available to teach men.

 

The structure of class(es) is up to you. My default is to spend 3-4 hours together going over what you need to know, but I am happy to expand and delve into the sources together. I can also include a session about hair covering, or any other marriage-related topic you are interested in learning together.
